And my X1900XT officialy becomes relegated to mid-range. Bastards. I would have liked to see them throw an 8800GTS and an X1950XT into the mix though - at the price those 8600GTS cards are going for, the X1950XT is much closer to being their competition than the X1950 Pro.

A decent card but for around $30-50 more you can get an 8800 GTS 320 MB, not sure how they'll make money on this card.

Launch prices - they'll drop down considerably over the next month.

Do you think its wise to buy a stock 8600GTS and OC it my self if needed? Ive been saving up for one of these cards and i currently have £156.50  :D

Ive been looking at some offferings from BFG and other companies, they are selling OCd cards for around £160 with 720 Mhz Core clocks (compared to stock 675 mhz clock)

So do you think its a good idea to buy a stock version fron Inno 3D ? its £40 cheaper than the OCd versons

I don't think it's wise buying any 8600 GTS at all when you can buy an 8800 GTS 320 for $229 USD, that's my opinion.
